This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to issue direction to the respondent to register the case based on the complaints dated 08.01.2017, 28.01.2017 and investigate the case in accordance with law.

2.The learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet had already passed an order dated 02.03.2017 in M.P.No.481 of 2017, stating that prima facie case has been made out on the petitioner's complaint and has directed the respondent police to file a report. Since the learned Magistrate was of the opinion that prima facie case has been made out, it would not be appropriate for the respondent police to keep the petition pending indefinitely. Hence, the respondent is directed to register the petitioner's complaint dated 08.01.2017 and conduct proper investigation as per law.
