ORDER

(Order of this Court was delivered by DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.) This writ petition is filed seeking temporary leave or parole for 15 days to the detenu Pugazhendhi aged 60 years son of Ramaiyan detained in C3/D.O./129/2020, dated 19.11.2020 who is confined at Central Prison, Cuddalore to attend his ailing brother and to arrange his daughter's marriage. 2.

The petitioner herein was detained under the Act 14 of 1982.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the earlier request of the petitioner herein dated 19.05.2021 seeking leave has been rejected on 20.05.2021 on the ground that the leave of parole is not permissible to the detenu under the Act 14 of 1982 as per the Tamil Nadu Prison Manual. 4.

Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is not inclined to grant leave of parole.
