Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying to direct the 4th respondent to not to harass the petitioners for the reason that the complaint of Sheeba Nagheeb is pending.

O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the 4th respondent not to harass the petitioners for the reason that the complaint of Sheeba Nagheeb is pending.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that on a complaint given by one Sheeba Nagheeb, petition enquiry is pending before the fourth respondent police against the petitioners.

4. In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed not to harass the petitioners. The petitioners shall co-operate in the enquiry. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioners against arrest.

With the above observation, the criminal original petition is closed.
