ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to direct the Principal Judge Family court, Chennai to number the IA.SR.No.11321 of 2025 in HMOP No.2416 of 2025 on the file of the Principal Judge Family court, Chennai. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed HMOP No.2416 of 2025 before the Family Court wherein the

petitioner was directed to appear in person. Since the petitioner is employed in UAE, he could not travel often to India for appearing in person before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai. Hence, the petitioner had executed a Power of Attorney appointing his mother Mrs. Jayanthi, C.R. as his Power of Attorney agent to represent on his behalf. If the petitioner often applies leave to come down to India to attend the case hearing, it would affect his career. 3.The petitioner has appeared before this Court through Video Conferencing and submitted that he is working as a Doctor in New Sunny Medical Centre at Sharjah in UAE. He is unable to come down to India to attend the case hearing. Hence, he has appointed his mother to attend the case proceedings. Hence, he prays to permit him to represent through his Mother and further undertakes to appear before the Trial Court whenever he is required for the case.

5. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also submissions of the petitioner, this Court deems fit to permit the petitioner to appoint his mother as Power of Attorney to represent on his behalf. Hence, the Power Agent of the petitioner shall proceed on behalf of the petitioner which is sustainable. However, whenever the petitioner is required for the Trial proceedings, he shall appear either through Video Conferencing or in person.

6. In view of the above, the Trial Court is hereby directed to number the IA SR No.11321 of 2025 in HMOP No.2416 of 2025 pending on the file of the Principal Judge, Family Court.

7. With the aforesaid directions, this Civil Revision is disposed of. Consequently. Connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs. 07-04-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Lbm
