ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 17.07.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.No.13671 of 2015 thereby dismissing the writ petition filed by the respondent.

On perusal of the order passed by this Court revealed that the

respondent filed the above writ petition challenging the order dated 11.07.2013 passed in A.P.No.199 of 2011 by the Special Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Chennai, thereby rejected the order of approval. The writ petition was dismissed and confirmed the order passed in A.P.No.199 of 2011. Further, no specific direction was given by this Court in order to comply the said order.

That apart, the respondent also preferred an appeal as against the order passed by this Court. Therefore, this Court finds no contempt as against the respondent and the present petition is liable to be dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach appropriate forum for proper relief in the manner known to law.
