O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Mannarkudi to expedite the trial in C.C.No.58 of 2017 within a stipulated period fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.

3.It is seen that private complaint has been filed in C.C.No.58 of 2017 as against the petitioner before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Mannarkudi, for the offence under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of IPC and the case is pending for trial.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court deems it fit to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Mannarkudi, to complete the trial proceedings in C.C.No.58 of 2017, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
