ORDER

The petitioner who was arrested on 23.11.2020 and remanded to judicial custody for the offences under Sections 6 of POCSO Act, 2012 and Section 5 (1) (a) (i) ITP Act in Cr.No.18 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused induced and threatened the victim girl and pushed into prostitution. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in no way connected with the alleged offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Therefore, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) vehemently opposed the grant of bail by stating that the petitioner had forcibly entered into the house of the victim girl and raped her. He further submits that the trial had already commenced. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Considering the nature of offences, this Court is of the view that it is not a fit case for grant of bail.
