Chennanjappa's and Rohan Mallick's land, South by: Pallam and Rohan Mallick's house, West by: I.S.. Veeranna's wife N.Suma's land, and North by: M.Veeranna's land, situated at Igalur Village, Talavadi Taluk, Erode District, within Registration District of Gopichettipalayam, and SubRegistration District of Talavadi, lying within Talavadi Panchayat Union limit and derived the above said property through a Registered Settlement Deed dated 08.11.2011, in Document No.1988/2011, registered at the office of SRO, Talavadi.

By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to survey and demarcate the petitioner's land viz., New Survey No.243/1, Old Survey No.22 in Igalur Village, Talavadi Taluk, Erode District and provide separate patta in his name, by considering his representations dated 07.11.2023 and 27.03.2024.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was acquired by the petitioner by way of a registered Settlement Deed dated 08.11.2011 and he has been in continuous possession and enjoyment of the same. It is the grievance of the petitioner that he has given representations on 07.11.2023 and 27.03.2024 to survey the said property and demarcate its boundaries and provide separate patta. However, the same has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 5.

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 07.11.2023 and 27.03.2024 and pass appropriate orders, on the petitioner's representation for survey of the property and demarcate its boundaries, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/6

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
