This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioners anymore. 2.

Heard Mr.RM.Venkatesh, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that Police is repeatedly issuing summons to be present for enquiry.

Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, submitted that despite the petitioners have been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

issued with three summons, they have not appeared.

5. After hearing the arguments advanced on either side, this Court is of the view that once summons or notice is issued, the petitioners shall cooperate to the Police for the purpose of investigation.

6. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The respondent Police is directed to issue fresh summons, to the petitioners, within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such summons, the petitioners shall appear before the respondent Police for enquiry. If the investigation reveals any cognisable offence is made out, it is for the respondent Police to take a call, as per law.
