This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register the complaint dated 08.02.2016 lodged by the petitioner and to take necessary action in accordance with law.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 3.
It is seen that this petitioner was a partner with one K.Nathan and was running an Industrial Unit in plot nos.14 &15, Kandanchavadi. It is further stated in the complaint that the land where the Industrial Unit is located belongs to Jayanthi, mother of K.Nathan.

4. Now it is alleged by the petitioner that when he went to that Unit, he found that Jayanthi had let out the Unit to one Athiyappan and that the furniture and other things belonging to the partnership firm were not available in the said Unit. It is also contended by the learned counsel that it is this petitioner who had built up the superstructure.
5.In a case of this nature, this Court cannot give direction to the respondent police to conduct the investigation. It essentially appears to be a dispute between the land owner Jayanthi and the petitioner, who is said to be the partner with her son K.Nathan. That apart, the petitioner has not even stated in the complaint the date on which he went to the place for inspection.
In the result, this petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS VI) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar To 1.The Commissioner of Police-Greater Chennai No.132, EVK Sampath Road, Vepery, Chennai 600 007.
