Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to regulate the period of suspension from 22.02.2012 to 14.10.2012 by treating the same as duty period and further direct the respondents to draw and disburse the pay and allowances due for the above said period.

The said order was unsuccessfully challenged in W.P.No.5343 of 2012. Writ Appeal filed against the order in W.P.No.5343 of 2012 was allowed by the Division Bench by judgment dated 27.09.2012 in W.A.No.650 of 2012. The suspension was revoked pursuant to the decision in W.A.No.650 of 2012. However, the period of suspension was not regularised and the same resulted in submitting a representation to the respondents on 10.10.2014. 2. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner for regularisation of the period of suspension on merits and in accordance with relevant Rules. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The Writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
