The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to grant 3 marks as grace marks to the petitioner in Pathology in the supplementary examinations held in June 2017, based on the representation made by him on 26.08.2017.

2. According to the petitioner, he is entitled to get such grace marks as per the University Regulations. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner as it is for the 2nd respondent University to consider and decide, based on the University Regulations. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.08.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
