Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents herein to grant him extension of leave for further period of 6 weeks to the petitioner's husband M.A.Kannan (Convict No.1332) S/o.Athinamilagi, aged about 44 years, detained at Central Prison, Puzhal - I, Chennai, from 03.08.2020 for his father's medical treatment and to transfer the property on his wife's name, which stands in the name of his mother, who passed away on 14.07.2020 for which the detenue is already on

leave granted by this Court vide its order dated 15.07.2020 in H.C.P.No.728 of 2020.

2. By order dated 03.08.2021, the convict prisoner M.A.Kannan (Convcit No.1332) S/o.Athinamilagi, was granted leave till 01.09.2020 by this Court.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate [Crl.side] submitted that the convict prisoner M.A.Kannan returned to prison on 01.09.2020 as directed by this Court.
