Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to take appropriate action on the representation of the petitioner dated 18.4.2016 submitted with regard to survey the said property comprising in S.No.89/13 of an extent of 2400 sq.ft. situated at Gangaikondan village, Virudhachalam Taluk, Villupuram District by meets and bounds.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioners would state that the house site property admeasuring an extent of 2400 sq.ft. in S.No.89/2013, Gangaikondan village originally belong to their mother and on her demise on 20.11.2010, the first petitioner Senthilvel, his brother Shanmugavel and sister Jenitha had succeeded to the Estate and the first petitioner submitted application/ representation dated 18.04.2016 to survey the said property by meets and bounds along with the challan and since no response is forthcoming, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.A.Ramalingam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.D.Suryanarayanan, learned Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.This Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 18.04.2016, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioners. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
