O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking to call for the records pertaining to DVA No.9 of 2018 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No. II, Pollachi and quash the same.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the Domestic Violence case filed by the respondent against the petitioners before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Pollachi. The petitioners are in-laws of the defactocomplainant. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that though the present original petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings of Domestic Violence case in DVA.No.9 of 2018, without going to the merits, it would suffice to issue a direction to the lower Court to complete the trial within a time frame and dispense with appearance of the petitioners.

4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this court is inclined to issue a direction to the lower Court to complete the trial, within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Further, the appearance of the first and second petitioners may be dispensed with. However, this order will not stand in the way of the learned Magistrate to insist the appearance of the petitioners, if necessary, for the purpose of the disposal of the case.

5.With the above terms, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected CRL.M.P.No.11681 of 2018 is closed.
