O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police directing them to file a final report in Crime No.1466 of 2018, on the file of the respondent Police within a stipulated period of time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel for Government of Tamilnadu (Criminal Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 29.12.2018, no final report is filed till date.

4. The learned counsel for Government of Tamilnadu (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of one month.

5. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
