.. Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct due enquiry on the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2016 by appreciating the above stated facts.

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner would state that his father late Ramamurthy purchased lands in S.F.No.316/1 admeasuring to an extent of 0.53 acre out of the total extent of 1.58 acres and in S.F.No.315 to an extent of 2.48 acres out of the total extent of 7.42 acres in Madhapur Village, Palladam Taluk, Tiruppur District on 21.09.1949 by virtue of sale deed bearing Doc.No.1609/1949. The petitioner would further state that after due equiry the Tahsildar issued joint patta on 30.10.1974 in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

name of his father and also in the names of Lakshmi Narayanasamy and Kasthurisamy, who are the other legal heirs and after the demise of his father, the petitioner along with his sisters, namely Rajamni, Saradha and Usha, claim to be in joint possession of the property. The petitioner applied for computerized patta, however to his shock and surprise, his father's name was removed from the patta in respect of the properties in Re.S.F.No.315/1 and 315/2 in Madhapur Village, Palladam Taluk, Tiruppur District and in this regard, he has submitted a representation dated 03.02.2016 to the respondents by enclosing the relevant documents and prayed for rectification and since, no orders has been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 03.02.2016, after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned.
