Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1st, 2nd and 3rd respondent on action on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 15.06.2020 to initiate appropriate action to remove the encroachments in the lake water body in the Survey No.61/1 in Kisan Eri and Kezhvayalamoor Eri and Pudu Eri to the tune of 65 Acres and also pass all other suitable orders to the respondents within the stipulated time as fixed by this Hon'ble Court and granting such other and further reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner has filed the present writ petition as no action is forthcoming despite the communication sent by the first respondent to the second respondent in and by the proceedings dated 24.06.2020 in O.Mu.A/11427/2020 seeking to take appropriate action and file a report.

2.Though the alleged encroachers, who are not made as parties before us, taking into consideration of the fact that no action has been taken pursuant to the communication of the first respondent to the second respondent as mentioned above, we direct the respondents 1 and 2 to take adequate action towards the removal of the encroachment, if any, pursuant to the representation of the petitioner dated 15.06.2020 and the communication dated 24.06.2020 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
