Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.08.2024 ad 09.03.2026 for rejecting the proposal submitted by the Secretary of Nehru Higher Secondary School, Eraiyur Perambalur District for approval of the promotion granted to the 5th respondent as P.G. Assistant in Economics and for promoting the petitioner as P.G. Assistant in Economics in the 4th respondent school in accordance with law and merits. For Petitioner(s):

Mrs.Mythreya Chandru Special Government Pleader Order This writ petition has been filed for the following relief: "To direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 01.08.2024 ad 09.03.2026 for rejecting the proposal submitted by the Secretary of Nehru Higher Secondary School, Eraiyur Perambalur District for approval of the promotion granted to the 5th respondent as P.G.Assistant in Economics and for promoting the petitioner as P.G.Assistant in Economics in the 4th respondent school in accordance with law and merits."

2. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. In W.P.No.1234 of 2026 filed by the 5th respondent herein, this Court, by order dated 21.01.2026, had passed the following order: "8. Accordingly, the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent dated 05.06.2025 is set aside. Therefore, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to forward a copy of the proposal for approval of the petitioner.s appointment as P.G. Assistant (Economics) to the 1st respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such proposal, the 1st respondent shall consider the same, strictly in accordance with the Tamil Nadu Recognized Private Schools (Regulation) Act and Rules, and pass appropriate orders, upon satisfaction of all other required criteria, within a period of six weeks thereafter."

4. The petitioner herein seeks a contra order. Therefore, while complying with the earlier orders of this Court dated 21.01.2026, the respondents shall afford an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the 5th respondent herein and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.
