Heard Mr.J.R.K.Bhavanatham, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.C.Selvasekaran, learned counsel, who takes notice for the respondents and with their consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking direction to the respondents to receive the application from the petitioner for transfer of name of Late M.Kannan in Assessment Record in the Revenue Department of Corporation of Chennai and effect change of transfer of ownership in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the name of A.Deepa Priya and effect amendment in the property tax bill No.0403 of Zone 11, Ward No.149 in respect of the property bearing Flat No.173-H, II Floor, 'A' Wing, (Previously Flat No.D), Arcot Road, Palaniappa Nagar, Valasaravakkam, Chennai - 600 087.

Originally one M.Kannan was the owner of 30/947 sq.ft of undivided share in total land measuring 4 grounds and 32 sq.ft comprised in S.No.176/2 part situated at Valasaravakkam Village, Saidapet Taluk, within the jurisdiction of Sub Registration District of Virugambakkam and Registration District of Central Chennai. The petitioner herein obtained a legalheirship certificate from the Tahsildar, Purasawakam, Perambur Taluk, Chennai on 11.06.2007, thereby claiming that she is the absolute owner of the property in question.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner in this writ petition, without expressing anything with regard to the merits of the case, I hereby direct the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the second respondent along with a copy of this order, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such representation being received, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter. 5.With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
