ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to give adequate police protection for fishing in the Vengathur Lake on the basis of the petitioner's written complaint dated 30.04.2018.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has been awarded fishing rights by the first respondent, vide order dated 06.04.2018 to fish in Vengathur Lake, Tiruvallur District for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the period from 2017-2012 and that the previous licensees by name Krishnakumar and Natarajan are preventing him from carrying out his lawful avocation and hence, he has filed the present petition for police protection.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

4. Liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the third respondent police and lodge a complaint in person and on such complaint being made, the same shall be enquired into by calling the said two persons and action taken in accordance with law.

Accordingly, this petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
