This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to register a case on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 21.04.2017.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that based on the very same complaint, the Law Enforcing Agency registered a FIR in Crime No.620 of 2017 dated 06.04.2017. Thereafter, alteration report has been filed before the 15th Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town, Chennai-01. 3.Taking into consideration and submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Sied), nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication. Hence, this petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
