PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C to direct the respondent police - the Inspector of Police (Crime) Kotturpuram Police Station herein to register the petitioner complaint dated 13.10.2014 vide in C.S.R.No.662 of 2014.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 13.10.2014 vide in C.S.R.No.662 of 2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.662 of 2014 before the respondent.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.
