Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first and second respondents to consider and dispose the petitioner representation dated 27.02.2024 to remove the name of Ayyamperumal in Patta No.560 comprised in S.N.55/6C measuring an extent of 0.2.00 Ares situated at Koththanur Village, Salem West Taluk, Salem District.

ORDER

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

This writ petition is filed to direct the first and second respondents to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 27.02.2024 to remove the name of Ayyamperumal in Patta No.560 comprised in S.N.55/6C measuring an extent of 0.2.00 Ares situated at Koththanur Village, Salem West Taluk, Salem District.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first and second respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. According to the petitioner, the name of one unknown person, viz., Ayyamperumal name has been wrongly included in his patta. Whereas, the petitioner is the owner of the property and he has purchased the property in the year 2012 and patta has also been issued in the name of the petitioner. Whileso, unknown person, one Ayyamperumal name has been wrongly included in the patta of the petitioner. In this regard the petitioner has given a 2/4

representation to the first and second respondents to remove the name of the said unknown person in the patta and the same has not been considered by the official respondents. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the first and second respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.02.2024 and pass Orders on the same in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
