By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner would state that in a suit for partition in O.S.No.16 of 1999, on the file of the Court of Subordinate Judge,
Tirupattur, the parties entered into a compromise and a compromise decree came to be passed on 19.7.2002, and it was also given effect to and therefore, the petitioner and other co-sharers shared the properties and are in possession and enjoyment of the respective properties. According to the petitioner, she approached the second respondent for subdivision of the property and issuance of a separate patta and in this regard, also submitted a representation dated 4.8.2014, followed by a reminder dated 23.3.2015, and since she has not been favoured with any kind of response, came forward to file this writ petition.
3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner, and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application/representation dated 23.3.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the persons concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
