Writ of Mandamus has been instituted seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to dispose of the pension proposals of the petitioner forwarded by the 2nd respondent to the 3rd respondent in D.N3378/2017 dated 11.07.2017.

2. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that his pay was not fixed in accordance with the Government Orders including the Government Order passed in G.O.No.234. However, the respective learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that the issues have already been considered by the Division bench of this Court in the case of A.Anandan vs. Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tiruvallur reported in 2024:MHC:1052 and based on the judgment, the eligible pensionary benefits due to the employees were settled.

3. Be that as it may. If the pensionary benefits to the writ petitioner herein is not settled, then the respondent shall take steps and settle the same as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that the petitioner is entitled for the benefit as per the fixation approved by the Accountant General of Tamilnadu which was considered by the Division Bench of this Court in the judgment cited supra.
