Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, to consider the petitioner representation dated 12.01.2017 by the respondents and consequently direct the respondents to pay a compensation of Rs.15 lakhs for petitioner husband death.

ORDER

Mrs.S.Muniammal has filed this writ petition seeking a mandamus to the respondents to consider her representation dated

12.1.2017 for payment of compensation for the loss of life of her husband due to electrocution.

2. Mr.M.Elumalai, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the first respondent. Mr.M.Varunkumar, learned standing counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents 2 to 5.

3. This Court, taking into account the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going to the merits of the matter, hereby directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.1.2017 on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
