This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the complaint dated 24.08.2015 given by the petitioner and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. It is represented that the petitioner has sent a complaint dated 24.08.2015 by post to the Superintendent of Police. The petitioner is directed to go in person and give a fresh complaint to the second respondent Police along with doctor's certificate and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into and action shall be taken in accordance with law as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs Government of Uttar Pradesh and Others in (2014) 2 SCC 1.
