This writ petition has been filed to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2012 in the light of proceedings of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.2461/2000/A5 dated 13.12.2000 and direct the respondents to allot the Plot No.84, D.No.332-A, Paneerselvam III Street, Sathiyavani Muthu Nagar, Vysarpadi, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Chennai-39, measuring 81 sq.metre to the petitioner and issue allotment order in her name.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the second respondent though in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.2461/2000/A5 dated 13.12.2000, had recommended to the first respondent to allot the land in the petitioner's name and the same is yet to be considered. No final order has been passed, till date and hence, the petitioner seeks for a direction directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 12.09.2012, which is pending in this regard.

In view of the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.09.2012 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to serve the copy of the representation along with the copy of the order to the second respondent. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
