The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents more particularly the second respondent to measure the petitioner's property situated in Villupuram District, Tindivanam Taluk, Venmani Athur Village in R.S.No.117/3, 4 and 5 within a time frame.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner and his brothers are in joint possession and enjoyment of the suit property. Whileso, the second respondent mistakenly entered the name of one Virudambal in the 'A' Register. Hence, he made representations to the respondents seeking to measure the

property, demarcate the boundary and mark the survey number and to correct the mistake in 'A' Register and the last of such representation was made on 21.03.2022 and since the same have not yet been considered, has filed this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that without going into the merits of the case, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation made on 21.03.2022 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time frame. 4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation made on 21.03.2022, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.This writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
