Respondents PRAYER: O.A.No.8110 of 2011 is originally filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, Chennai and on abolition of the Tribunal, the same was transferred to this Court and re-numbered as Writ Petition in W.P.No.4534 of 2007, for a direction to the respondents not to terminate the petitioner from service in pursuance of the Item No.3 of the resolution dated 26.11.2001 passed by the 2nd respondent without following the procedure prescribed by law. ORDER

Aggrieved by the Order of termination dated 26.11.2001, the petitioner approached the learned Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal by filing Original Application No.8110 of 2001, challenging the same on the ground that all the principles of natural justice, fair play, equity and good conscience were violated while passing the impugned order of termination.

2. On abolition of the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, the matter was transferred to this Court and re-numbered as Writ Petition No.4534 of 2007. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Government Pleader placed on record a proceedings dated 9.2.2015 issued by the Block Development Officer, Tiruppuvanam to the effect that the petitioner has earlier worked as Part-time Writer in Allinagaram Panchayat of Tiruppuvanam Panchayat Union from 1.8.1997 to 25.11.2001 and he is continuing in service from 26.11.2001 as Panchayat Secretary in Kaliyanthur, Nayanarpettai Panchayat and hence the writ petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the said proceedings produced by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs.
