This writ petition has been filed for issue of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to complete the proceedings based on the enquiry initiated on the petition submitted by the petitioner on 10.08.2022 wherein the petitioner has sought for cancellation of patta that stands in the name of the third respondent and for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner with respect to the subject property.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2.

Taking into considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the enquiry has already been conducted by the first respondent and report has been submitted by the second respondent and no final orders have been passed, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to pass final orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs.
