ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2018 in the light of the points raised therein.

Yesterday, when this matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this matter was directed to be listed today under the caption "for dismissal" and this matter is listed today accordingly. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed for default. No costs. Connected W.M.P. stands closed. It is made clear that if the unauthorised/illegal construction is not removed, the authorities concerned shall initiate disciplinary proceedings for major misconduct against the officials responsible for removal of unauthorised/illegal construction, as it is their duty to remove the same, and bring the disciplinary proceedings so initiated, to its logical conclusion.
