ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to put-up a tar road in cart track on the northern side of the "Periya Yeri" at Madulamkuppam Village, Thirukkazhukundram Taluk, Chengalput District.

2. The petitioners are agriculturists and they claim that they are using the cart track, which is the subject matter of this writ petition. According to them, the agriculturists will be benefitted if the tar road is constructed on the cart track. The petitioners have given representations on 17.11.2025 and 16.02.2026 to the respondents requesting them to putup a tar road on the cart track. Since the said representations have not been considered, the petitioners have filed this writ petition. Page No.2 of 7

3. Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mr.R.U.Dinesh Raj Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3.

4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 and 3 has placed on record the written instructions received by him. As seen from the same, the cart track is being maintained by the Public Works Department, namely the 3rd respondent herein.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representations as stated supra.

6. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representations as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Page No.3 of 7

7. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 1st respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 17.11.2025 and 16.02.2026 requesting the respondents to put-up a tar road in the cart track on the northern side of the "Periya Yeri" at Madulamkuppam Village, Thirukkazhukundram Taluk, Chengalput District, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
