O R D E R

This Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the wife/petitioner herein, seeking transfer of H.M.O.P.No.725 of 2016 filed by the husband/respondent for divorce on the file of Sub-Judge, Tambaram.

2. It is stated that the wife is living in Anna Nagar, Chennai and the husband is living in Velacherry, Chennai. As both the parties are living in Chennai, it would be convenient to both, to conduct the matter in any of the Family Court, at Chennai.

3. The respondent has also specifically stated in paragraph 13 of the counter affidavit filed by him that he has no objection to transfer the above H.M.O.P.No.725 of 2016 to any one of the Family Court, at Chennai, in order to avoid further delay in the matter.

4. In view of the above, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. Accordingly, the proceedings pending in H.M.O.P.No.725 of 2016 on the file of Sub-Judge, Tambaram, is withdrawn and transferred to the file of Family Court, Chennai. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
