The learned counsel for the appellant submitted that nothing survives for adjudication, in view of the disposal of the main writ petition by the learned single Judge, by order dated 8 January, 2016.

2. In view of the said submission, the writ appeal is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
