O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register a criminal case on the complaint dated 05.07.2016 given by the petitioner to the first respondent and investigate the case and file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that earlier, the petitioner had lodged a complaint dated 22.02.2016 against her husband, who is serving in the Central Reserve Police Force [CRPF], Assam. During enquiry, the petitioner gave a letter that since her husband is now in the border area, she will pursue the complaint after https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

he comes back to village. On the strength of this letter, the petition enquiry in CSR No.82 of 2016 was closed temporarily.

4. Now, the petitioner has given a fresh complaint dated 05.07.2016. The respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint dated 05.07.2016 and refer the matter to the Protection Officer when the petitioner's husband comes to village.
