This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 19.08.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that this petitioner has given Rs.1lakh to the opposite party, on promise that the opposite party will sell his land. It is also admitted by the petitioner that the opposite party has signed and given a receipt for the said sum. It is further alleged that the opposite party had threatened the petitioner on 18.08.2015.

4. On a reading of the complaint, it appears to be civil in nature and no positive direction can be issued to register the FIR. In view of the above, this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedies in the manner known to law. Whatever observed herein is only for the limited purpose.
