This writ petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to make necessary changes in the Revenue Records and to issue patta to the petitioner showing the correct Survey Number. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the second respondent by his proceedings dated 19.09.2019, has already directed the Tahsildar to make necessary changes in the Revenue Records, since there was a mistake in the entry made in the Revenue Records during UDR scheme. The learned counsel submitted that inspite of the direction given by the second respondent, the third respondent is not acting upon the same and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the corrections have not been carried out in the Revenue Records. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the petitioner has also made a representation in this regard on 22.06.2020 and the same has not been acted upon till date.
3.Heard Mr.A.Aruldoss, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents.
4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstance of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition and also of the fact that the second respondent has already given necessary directions through his proceedings dated 19.09.2019, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 22.06.2020 in line with the proceedings of the second respondent and deal with the same strictly in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the third respondent along with a copy of the proceedings of the second respondent dated 19.09.2019 and a copy of the representation dated 22.06.2020 and also a copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
