This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur to expedite the trial in C.C.No.54/2012 on the file of Judicial Magistrate Court, Alandur.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. Taking into consideration the fact that, two witnesses have been examined and that, the prosecution is of the year 2012, it will serve the interests of justice, if direction is issued to the trial court to complete the trial in C.C.No.54 of 2012 on the file of Judicial Magistrate Court, Alandur, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order.
