Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to consider and pass order on the petitioner's petition dated 02.08.2019 and issue amended patta in respect of property bearing Survey No.319/3, 319/5 to an extent of 96 cents, in Vitilapuram Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Chengalpattu District.

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 02.08.2019 and to pass appropriate orders and issue a fresh patta to the petitioner showing the correct extent of the property.

2. Mr.Annai Ezhil, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the representation made by the petitioner has already been taken on file by the first respondent and the first respondent has fixed the date for an enquiry on 20.08.2020 at 11a.m.

3. In view of the above development, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to proceed further with an enquiry strictly in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent shall give an opportunity to the third respondent before proceeding further with the enquiry and passing final order.

4. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No cost.
