Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari to call for the records about the impugned proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 20.03.2023 in Na.Ka.No.863/2023/A1 and quash the same.

Though the Writ Petition has been filed challenging the resolution passed between the petitioner and the counterparty, the learned counsel for the petitioner has restricted the prayer to the extent that they may be permitted to perform Annadhanam beyond distance of 200 meters from the temple.
2. On perusal of the resolution, which is impugned in this Writ Petition dated 20.03.2023, it reveals that all are permitted to worship at the temple, namely Karuvalur Sri Karunakara Venkataramana Perumal, which is under the control of the HR&CE Department, located in S.No. 90/1, Karuvalur Village, Avinasi Taluk, Coimbatore District. Furthermore, both parties A and B are not allowed to perform Annadhanam within the vicinity of 200 meters 2/4
from the temple. If there is any law and order issues between the parties, the jurisdictional police are directed to take appropriate action against them.
3. In view of the above, the petitioner is always permitted to perform Annadhanam away from the distance of 200 meters of the Temple.
4. With the above clarification, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. 14.02.2025 Index : Yes/No.
