ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 02.03.2026 at an early date, wherein the petitioner has requested UDR
correction in respect of the properties more fully described in the prayer to this Writ Petition.

It is seen from the documents filed in support of this Writ Petition that, pursuant to the petitioner's request for UDR correction, proceedings have already been initiated by the 1st respondent and an enquiry has also commenced. Though an enquiry was conducted on 06.06.2023 pursuant to the proceedings in Na.Ka. No. COLKPM/3350/2023 dated 12.05.2023, no final orders have been passed by the 1st respondent on the petitioner's request for UDR correction till date.

Mr.A.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 3 to 7 in this writ petition, notice to the respondents 3 to 7 is dispensed with by this Court.

No prejudice would be caused to any of the respondents, if the petitioner's representation, dated 02.03.2026 as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of
the respondents 3 to 7 and any other third party, whom the 1st respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation, dated 02.03.2026 seeking UDR correction in respect of the properties more fully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of the respondents 3 to 7 and any other third party, whom the 1st respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
