By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to survey and demarcate the petitioner's land viz., Survey No.309/8 in Alamarathupatti Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District, by considering his representation dated 02.09.2023.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was acquired by the petitioner by way of a Partition Deed dated 27.03.2012 and the revenue authorities also issued patta in favour of the petitioner. It is the grievance of the petitioner that he has given representation on 02.09.2023 to survey the said property and demarcate its boundaries. However, the same has not been considered by the second respondent. 2/4

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.09.2023 and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
