ORDER

The plaintiffs have filed the present revision. Before the trial Court, the plaintiffs filed a suit in O.S.No.4197 of 2019 for partition and permanent injunction. The defendants have also appeared before the trial Court and trial has commenced even in the year 2023 and as on date, the suit has been adjourning on various dates without any progress and therefore, the plaintiffs filed the present revision seeking for speedy disposal of the suit in O.S.No.4197 of 2019.

2. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the revisions petitioners and also considering the fact that the suit is pending for a long time, this Court is inclined to dispose of the revision at the admission stage itself. 2/4

3. Accordingly, the civil revision petition is disposed of directing the learned Judge, XVII Additional City Civil Court, Chennai to dispose of O.S.No.4197 of 2019 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
