This petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.665 of 2015 on the file of the 1st respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials placed on record.
3. On a complaint lodged by one Balaji, the respondent police registered a case in Crime No.665 of 2015 against the petitioners herein for offences under Section 407, 468, 471 and 420 IPC, challenging which, this quash petition has been filed by the petitioners/accused.
4. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced a copy of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
report dated 05.09.2015 filed by the Inspector of Police, C-1, Sriperumbudur Police Station, Kancheepuram District before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur, wherein, it is stated that, during the course of the investigation, it was found that the petitioners are innocent and they are not involved in the offence and therefore, the Inspector has prayed for their names may be deleted from the FIR in Crime No.665 of 2015.
