PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of certiorari calling for the records connected with the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in vide his order NA.KA.21476/2023/KALAL-1 dated 30.01.2024 and quash the same.
For Petitioner:

Mr.T.K.Saravanan Addl. Government Pleader for respondent Nos.1 and 3 Mr.M.Sekar Standing Counsel for respondent No.2
ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner, through this Public Interest Litigation (PIL), has challenged the action of the first respondent in locating the Tasmac Shop No.3890 in Survey No.243, Nathakkadaiyur, Mullipuram Village, Kangayam Taluk.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the second respondent, at the outset, brings to the notice of this Court, an order dated 12.8.2024 passed in W.P.No.23285 of 2024 [P.Moorthy v. The District Collector, Tiruppur and others], wherein an identical issue with regard to the same Tasmac shop was raised. Further, the said writ petition has been disposed of with certain directions.
4. Having gone through the order dated 12.8.2024 passed by this Court, we find that a PIL, though was filed later, it was disposed of by this Court earlier.
5. It appears that even though the present writ petition was filed earlier in point of time, the order dated 12.8.2024 does not refer the pendency of the writ petition laying challenge to the location of the same Tasmac shop in Survey No.243.
6. Be that as it may, once the issue has already been examined by this Court in the other petition, no further orders are required to be passed.
7. The writ petition is disposed of in terms of the directions issued in W.P.No.23285 of 2024, dated 12.08.2024. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
