ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.01.2017 and issue lease of the vacant small piece of land measuring 350 sq.feet belongs to the Arulmighu Venugopalaswamy Thirukovil (Krishnan https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Koil Temple) situated at Old No.73, New No.142, Coral Merchant Street, Mannady, Chennai 600 001.

2.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 06.01.2017 seeking lease of land measuring about 350 sq. feet to run the orphanage.

3.Heard both sides.

4. Learned Special Government Pleader has produced the proceedings dated 31.01.2017, stating that action has been taken by the respondent to lease out the temple land through public auction.

5.Considering the fact that the petitioner's representation already been considered through proceedings dated 31.01.2017, the petitioner can participate in the auction to be conducted by the respondents, if he is interested. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
