O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 30.07.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that, the petitioner has not attached any proof for having been given the complaint dated 30.07.2015. On reading of the complaint dated 30.07.2015, it is alleged by the petitioner that his son's betrothal was held on 19.03.2015, with the daughter of Panneerselvam and the marriage did not go through. In the complaint, the petitioner has alleged that the family of Panneerselvam are not returning the jewels and other articles, that were given to the girl at the time of betrothal.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is given liberty to go in person and lodge a fresh complaint before the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Guindy and on such complaint being given, the Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Guindy is directed to call both the parties and take action in accordance with law.
