Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

2. It is the case of prosecution that the petitioner's son came by a two wheeler and hit the parked lorry on the back side and sustained serious injuries ultimately leading to his death after about 68 days. On the complaint given by the lorry driver, the respondent police registered the case in Crime no.481 of 2014 against the petitioner's son.

3. Now, it is the petitioner's case that her son was not fault and it was the lorry driver, who was at fault.

4. Under such circumstances, this Court directs the Deputy Superintendent of Police under whose jurisdiction the Achirapakkam Police Station, Kancheepuram District falls to personally monitor the investigation in Crime No.481 of 2014, file a report before the jurisdictional Court within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of the order. With this direction this petition is closed.
